Try "Running With Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs. It's the story of his childhood, growing up in the madcap household of his mother's psychiatrist. It's a true story, and the facts sound like they should be horrifying, but he tells the story from a very humorous viewpoint. He's a good writer, and it's a fun read.
