No. I think the reason is to prevent, or at least keep at a minimum, ridiculous questions like, "Do you think I am pretty?" or "How old am I?" In my opinion, 5 points is not working to do that, so I think the price of asking a question should be raised to 10 and then 15 if that doesn't work. Then maybe these pointless questions will stop!!

I think its gay that you loose 5 points when you ask a question and that you can only ask so many a day and answer so many a day I think for loosing 5 points we should be aloud to ask more questions and answer more questions to for loosing 5 points

Yes but if you pick a best answer you will get 3 points back so it ends up 2 points. Hang in there stay smart will increase points then you can ask more Easy right

As you get more points and get onto 'higher levels' you can answer more and more questions. I think it encourages people to participate by answering questions and voting for best answers.

well, it really sucks if it is a stupid question (not saying yours is) and other people get the points for many pointless answers. (no pun intended) it makes no sense.
