By the looks of your math question, I will assume that your teacher is not allowing you to use a calculator.

First change eat fraction into improper fractions:

35/4 divided by 15/2

For divisions of fractions, multiply the first fraction by the inverse of the second:

35/4 x 2/15

Multiply the numerator and denominator:

70/60

Simplify:

7/6

If you want to change that back to a proper fraction:

1 1/6

Your is somewhat ambiguous. There are 2 situations achieveable. Case a million : (7/8 - a million/2) / 3/4 thus, following are the steps : Step1 => 7/8 - a million/2 = 3/8 Step2 => 3/8 / 3 /4 = a million/2 answer Case 2 : 7/8 - a million/2 / 3/4 thus, following are the steps : Step1 => a million/2 / 3/4 = 2/3 Step2 => 7/8 - 2/3 = 5/24 answer From next time plz dont ask such stupid questions.

First convert both to mixed fractions. ( I think thats what you call them ).

So we get the fractions as 35/4 and 15/2.

To divide something, reverse it and then multiply it.

So we get

35/4 * 2/15

or 70/60 or 7/6, which is your answer.
