I don't think it was a fair game played by Italians. They were faking many times like they were injured in the knee. And they never got a card for hurting Germans.And the refferee was in Italy's side. They had a good defence infront of the net that all why they won. They cheated.
I'm very sad to see Germany lose. You can't believe how touching it was.

I don't think Italy is that famous in football,like Germany. Germany had all those famous people awarded like: Beckenbauer the best player ever, Kahn best goalkeeper ever awarded.Ballack the best player awarded,this year ONLY KLOSE inthe entire whole World Cup, scored 5 goals,no1 ever did in this World cup.And more and more
I feel terribly humiliated by Italians!!!
WE ROCK!! Were the BEST! Whatever happens Germany always is gonna be the best!!

Thank you very much. You've totally expressed my feeling towards what happened. Many should realize that Italy cheated their way through the final. The referee didn't really see a lot of faking fouls and Italians' purposely agressive attacks that could receive yellow cards.

The ref can't be on the Italian side: Germans = home team. I think the Italians were lucky they didn't get a totally pro-German ref. He probably just missed a few fouls because let's face it, he can't be all over the field at once and 100% accurate in judgement every time. And it's not like a few yellow cards is going to stop the Italians from scoring. A goal is a goal, and you can't cheat about something like that.
And what's wrong with winning because they had good defence?? Italy's always been famous for their defence and they had some excellent clears and saves in front of their goal. Even if you support the Germans you can't deny the fact that they played a great fair game.

Sounds like you're coming up with excuses to help justify the German team losing. Listen, it was a great match and both sides were faking and diving and the ref was great about letting the players dictate the game especially in the fist half. The yellow cards came on dangerous plays like tackling from behind. It came down to the mere fact that Germany wanted the game to go into PKs and Italy didn't. One of the top 3 matches of the tourney in my opinion.

If you watched the same game I did you know Italy deserved to win. Germany shot on goal just twice. Cheated, how do you cheat when the referee is favoring the German team?
You must admit Italy had it hard to be playing against Germany in Germany,
How about the firs italian goal how nice was that?
Corner kick to Pirlo,fakes and passes to Grosso whom without stopping the ball shot to far post where Lehman had no chance.

i think the germany-italy game was great. it was kinda sad to see the germans go but italy was great. their defence is promising. and they had way more chances of scoring than germany so i think they deserved to win but i still think germany did a very good job and played very well.
and as for the referee, the refs are not always 100% accurate. of course they would miss a couple of things coz they're not robots. but i think it was a fair play. dont get me wrong though, germany was great!

Do have any clue how idiotic you sound? The Replays showed Italians getting nailed pretty hard and they got their yellows too. I don't think that factored much with he pounding the Germans took in dying minutes of the game. Usually bad reffing goes to the home side genius.

If you play a frigging World Cup semi final in front of home crowd and you have only 2(TWO for a heavens sake) shots on goal and keep half of your team in defense all game long you deserve what had happened.
I am neutral fun who expected some entertainment.

No, I don't. How come everybody see only the other team cheating? All do the same. You should be proud, Germany got pretty far with a mediocre team. For consolation, Germany will beat Portugal for third place.

i can't believe it too but i think that the italians played a very well game.
the germans did as well but the score is what counts.
i thought the match was great but the second goal was totally needles,they just lost it.
anyway they've made it to the final four which is good but that's it

you are totally wrong about italians not getting yellow cards...in fact, italy recieved two yellows in the game ...and don't hate italians for playing an awesome attacking football ..you are just mad because your team lost the game...italy scored twice and also 2 of their shots hit the post so italy definitely had better chances and it well took advantage of them
