SO WHAT ??? who really cares how much he wanks. In fact I think I would be a bit disturbed by that and I would be looking for new friends to hang with

If he's teenager-young, then he'll likely grow out of it. But there are just some guys (regardless of the ability to get dates) who have really high libidos.
I wouldn't worry about it, unless it's having an obvious and negative effect on his behavior, or your friendship.

Depends on his age. If he's somewhere around 14, then it's pretty normal. If he's older... then he should find a different release for his energy
