well i have had this friend and he's been my friend since kindergarten. and uuh well im going into eighth now and i think i've fallen for him... should i tell him how i feel or should i just keep it to myself? do you think it will change our friendship??

I think you should tell him, and kindergarten-eighth, wow, that's a long time. Yeah, you should tell him. Do you think he will act shock or he will be happy to hear about this. If you think he will be happy to hear about this, then you should tell him, if not then don't tell.

Let him know. You'll regret it if you don't. I had friend who was very close , we used to go dancing, but always just as friends.We talked on the phone for hours everyday. we were only in middle school. we went to alot of quinceneras (like sweet 16's) . I never knew he liked me so much , until about 15 years later. We were both married to someone else and he was having a hard time with his marriage. He ended up divorced and hurt. But i couldn't do anythng for him, because i was married and had children. I couldn't mess my marriage up. We still keep in touch and he remarried and seems happy. when we talk he still seems excited to hear from me. I wonder how , if we had gotten together years ago, how it would've turned out. We got along great, but we never had the courage to go further than friendship.

I say don't tell him anything. Your feelings toward him will probably be evident in the way you act around him. Maybe he'll catch on, maybe he won't. Don't worry about it. Have fun with your friends. You're a little young to need to think about falling in love.

It should not change anything. your both still young. don't wait till you get to high school 'cause ther is a whole new group of people.And he just feel the same way about you.Just try it
