... in Brazil hundreds or even thousands of Brazilians burnt their Brazilian T-shirts in the central squares in countless towns. Do you think that that is taking it a bit too far ?! For a start they will just have to buy new Brazilian shirts again.

They really are nuts about their football. I heard that in the 50s one spectator in Bazil pulled out a gun a shot the refereee. God he would have had a field day in this world cup, particularly if he was either Dutch or Portugauese and was present at that match !! He would need a Kalashnikov, not a pistol !!

Are you kidding me??? I hope that's not true. That would be just stupid. I mean you should support your team no matter what. They lost so **** happens. It can happen to the best of them (as it shows). No reason to burn shirts lol. They should be happy that Brazil won 5 times and that they played well and got through as far as they did. They got beaten. So what. There's always a next time. Pick yourself up dust yourself up and start all over again. Life moves on. Get over it. Support your team. Don't bring them down. I'm sure they already feel like crap.

I dont know if that is true but i did see on tv that when the team returned to Brazil there were alot of angry fans and Cafu and Cicinho were the only ones to talk to reporters... fans should stick by their team no matter what... I was extremely sad that Brazil lost but that does not mean that im going to thrash the team, they got really far and there is always South Africa 2010

i heard that they destroied the 6 m tall statue of Ronaldinho. too bad, i am a brazilian fan and when they lost, i just cried a lot like everybody else, not like did something to make them feel worse. anyway, i believe in tmw, cuz there is another chance every time, 2010, then 2014 etc... they are already champions for me and the champions of fairplay (that is from a very good source).

I don't think that it is taking it a bit far because they are easily the most talented team in the world cup and they should have won every game easily.

Pretty much possible. They always turn on their players when their team loses(worse was in 1966 when they even rioted) .Often they do it unfairly but this buch of fat celebrities really deserved it

I know how it feels for such a team to loose and for their supporters too, drives them crazy....
But they shouldn't take it so seriously to that extreme..it's just a game anyway.
