I send greetings to all American(USA) citizens from India It is not only for being discovered late that your country is called New World. America, since its coming into its own had given new hope. But for its timely intervention in the First and the Second World Wars the geography of the world would have been quite different and dismal. The evil powers were almost dominating the world. You stepped in to stem the tide and that too when their triumph could never have had even a scrath over your body.The Monroe doctrine was really the cry of a soul anguished by the antics of the Europe.Do you know that the year of your independence and our last struggle for it have the same digitts- 1492 and 1942? Believe me this coincidence did not fail to impress us at that time. We fervently believed that these figures were magical .There were reports-perhaps the expressions of our yearning souls-that President Rooswelt had given England a sound curtain lecture against the torture of the Indian freedom fighers.The fact that ours are the only two biggest and working democracies in the world cannot be just a coincidence. We may have differences in fuure but we will always bear in mind that we are parts of the same soul. The name given to the original inhabitats of the America as Indians is not just an accident of history. Congratulations once again !
