It was depressing.. throughout the game I will concede that the Italians played stronger all the way through, but our Germans managed to hang on up til the VERY last 2 minutes. That first goal was a shocker, and the second one was unexpected because Germany was so focused on making the equalizer. Before, I wanted Portugal to win so that they would meet Germany in the finals, but now I'll be happy with a Portugal loss tomorrow so that my two favorite teams can play each other on Friday.
Oh what a horrid Fourth of July today was :'(.

The upside is.. I'm going to be leaving on Sunday and probably won't be able to watch the final match. So, on Saturday, at least I will have something to look forward to.

well, sad to say that Germany lost, Germany played really well, but Italy is a better team defensively. earlier in the match, do you noticed that Germany's defense formation is a little bit messed up giving the Italians a higher chance shots on goal. and Lehmann's doing most of the work since Italy keep attacking them. anyway, hopefully they finish up 3rd place. It happens.

I am very happy Germany lost. German`s tema stoled the match to Argentine and was near to arrive the final playing so bad. Germany Use to have a good futbol but this time, they played as a small team. (Im not italian)

Don't be happy with a Portugal loss. Have one of your favorite teams play the final! Portugal will beat France!

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT .. THE FIRST & SECOND GOALS WERE SURPRZING ..ALL OF US THOUGHT THAT THE GAME IS GOING TO THE PENALTY GOALS . UNFORTUNATELY THIS DIDNT HAPPEN . NOW I WANT FRANCE TO WIN ON PORTAGUAL TOMORROW . IF GERMANY IS NOT IN THE FINALS THEN FRANCE DESERVE TO BE. PLUS FRANCE IS MY SECOND BEST TEAM OTHER THAN GERMANY & TO THE CONTRARY I DONT LIKE MY BEST TEAMS TO BE AGAINST EACH OTHER .

I know i'm soo mad. I thought you know they were tired and all but i thought that they could still take it after the first goal but then they scored again. So it was sorta fair but not really. ya this was a horrid 4th.

we deserve to lost the game coz we won most of the matches by luck and so Italy deserves to be in the final
