I was on birth control when i was younger (16) (now I'm 21 and married) and was dating a guy who was married and i loved him very much and we tried to have a baby, so i went off birth control for a few days and then changed my mind that i didn't wanta baby, and so i took those pills that i missed, and did this for about 6 months off and on.

Im not a doctor but Im going to say NO..it doesnt sound like anything that could of effected your fertility...BCP contain hormones and very little at that and 6 months isnt really a long time..give it some time and Im sure that it will happen.

But, i heard being on birth control for too long isn't good for you, and can make you infertile!
Be careful!
There are other methods than birth control!
I only used it till i got used to my fertility and how my cycles work!
We used natural planning, and didn't get pregnant till we tried!
BUT, everyone is different!

if u wanna try to concieve again first of all u should wait for few month cause birthconrol still in ur system and it takes a while to get it off.

I have always heard that If you take birth control, you must take it everyday at the same time....I don't know how true that is...talk to your Dr. GOOD LUCK^_^

It might just take you awhile to get a normal cycle..but the effects should not be long term.
