1 week ago today I had a radical laparoscopic hysterectomy. The anes'ologist gave me a shot of morphone in my spine along with general anes. Now I have a numb area on my right leg, on the side, on the thigh. (about where my hand hits when standing) Any ideas?

You need to talk to your dr. to find out for sure. I also had a radical hysterectomy and had an epideral in my spine. I did have a few days of numbness in one of my legs. The dr. said something about the needle going in at an angle and that it was normal...it did wear off.

It can take a while for the effects of anesthetic to wear off. But the only real answer is that you should contact your doctor immediately.
