I try to watch TV with him for as long as I can stand it, then I invite him to do other things. He turns down all of my ideas, and seriously suggests that we go to the theater and watch a movie, instead. To me that's worse, because now I am actually paying money to be bored. I can't stand it any longer! I am bored out of my pea-picking mind! What can I do???? I want to have a relationship with my husband! I can go off and do other things, either by myself or with other people, but where is my marriage?

When he's at work, have something that can be pulled out of the TV out and hide it. Then when he's all flustered, go out and shop around for the part. :)

Maybe he actually likes TV. Get a treadmill, exercise bike or stair climber and do that beside him while he watches TV. Get a hobby to do while you're with him while he does his hobby. Do you do things that drive him crazy? I bet so. Maybe you should talk and try to limit those things for both of you and make a compromise to do things that you both like. Remember, he's a person and has feelings too. I wish you both the best.

He is probably just tired of working all week. Maybe you should ask him to go to Victoria Secrets Store to help you pick out a nice fantasy outfit. Then take him off for a wonderful fantasy. I bet he will be more anxious to run off with you in the future.

Good luck!

Make a compromise. Three days for watching TV with him (better than seven)....two days for doing things with you, one day for freedom to do what each of you want ( I guess it will be TV for him again- but that's his choice-it will give him the feeling that he has the better end of the bargain)...and Sunday for church (this is where he hears from somebody else other than you that having a relationship with your wife is good for your marriage. Two days is better than no day to spend quality time to your specifications, right?...Good luck, girl...and God bless!

No body says you have to stay with him to watch tv..get out of the house, get some interests and follow through with them. Whats the big deal here?

spice things up. when he turns the tv on, get into your gym gear (if you dont have any, buy some) and say that you are going to work out because you ARE SO BORED ( make sure you look hot!!!). he will not want to let you go and will find something yu can both do together!!!

Try a comprise. Request that your hubby spend one of his days off with you and the other day doing what he wants to do. I do not know if you work or not, but sometimes all one wants to do it pass out on the couch when they have a day off.

Remember marriage/relationships are all about compromising....

Good luck!

I am not married, but my bf does the same thing. It's like he is glued to the couch! He is really in to cars, so I usually just go outside and start doing something with mine (mainly washing it) and that draws him outside....next thing you know, we are out driving around (not really going anywhere, just riding around, getting away from the house).

Try asking if there is anything he would like to get out and do.
