They never talk about the spiritual women, because men want to dominate and have all the power.
So they make it look like all "prophets" or whatever were men.
I am Pagan, I believe in a God, and a Goddess, which are both at equal level, and you know what
there are alot of Goddess based religions out there.
So pleeeeaaaassssseeee, I am VERY spiritual.
And look more into what kinda religions there are, and their deities before commenting that men are more spiritual.

There are many female saints. If you want a female prophet, just look for Deborah, of the Old Testament. There have been Buddhist nuns since the time of the Buddha, and female bodhisattvas. Also dakinis.
Spirituality has nothing to do with gender. Official recognition of spirituality in texts generally written by men is another matter.

Because as time passed by, a chauvinist society was all that remained.
How do you know that there weren't female prophets? Tell me.
And the Bible is not exactly reliable as it has been changed a lot through the years, because of the chauvinist society I was telling you about.
What about Mary Magdalene? She left a gospel and was part of Jesus' apostoles (this is true, and I'm not basing myself on the Da Vinci Code but in actual researches made years ago). If she was ignored by the Church, how many other women met the same fate.
Learn a little about history before making such stupid statements.

There are many, many female saints. Since you mentioned priests, there are also nuns.
Muhammad's wife was the first person to accept Islam after his revelations.
Men are not more spiritual than women. You're not looking at context. Most of the religions you have cited are from patriarchal societies, so therefore the religion reflects the norms of the society that it is from. It does not mean that women are inferior or any less spritual.
Everything is made in God's image, not just one gender.

Because women are too busy taking care of the man so they can spend their time dwelling on the eternal. We have the house, the cooking, the children, the laundry, the driving, not to mention the full time job. All the prophets you mention never brought home a paycheck or spent time with their kids. The dwelt on the afterlife and the eternal whatever while the women deal with the here and now.

It is true, there are more, noted, male prophets, priests, and heads in general than women. That is because Christ made man, (Adam) to lead, not the woman. However, Christ will use whom He will. There has been female prophets:
- Deborah was a phrophetes and a judge of Israel, (Judges 4:4).
- Mary, (the earthly mother of Christ) and Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist both prophesied (Luke 1:39-56)
- Ana prophesied of Christ when he was presented, (Luke 2:36-39)

Spirituality and the role of ministry or responsibility are two different things, at least according to the Christian Holy Scriptures. Men and women are two different beings or creatures, thus it should not be surprising if they happen to have different responsibilities. Even though men are more entrusted the task of spiritual services while women the responsibility of nurturing and caring for the family, but in either cases, and for those who chooses it, the door to walk in love and obedience to God – which are God’s definition of genuine spiritually, Mark:12:30 – are wide open!

I don't know where you acquired these inane thoughts,,,no offense, but WOW, this smacks of prejudice, ignorance, a lack of desire to explore womanhood, and very likely teachings, by a male dominated, perhaps other world, cultural society.
GODS images,,,no matter what faith base,,, have all been created by HUMANkind, and gender specific as a tool to suggest MAN being the all powerful. I doubt anyone alive can state with clarity that GOD exists, much less that GOD is MALE. BIG SIGH.
I'll let you know when I get beyond this life.

Actually, women are spiritual too. It's just that many think men or more dominant, thus require more fame. Or at least deserve fame. For years, women have been lower class, and still are. Besides, some people here like the cliche-ness I guess.

If the truth be known my friend, how do you think all these men could afford to be so spiritual if they didn't have a woman (mother, wife, etc.) dealing with the reality of taking care of everything else so their minds would be free to be so spiritual.
