My bet is they are instant. How else do the ALL TASTE THE SAME EVERYWHERE YOU GO? Most fast food places are instant. Even Olive Garden's Berry Crostada (Which I highly recommend!) comes frozen. I only wish I knew where to buy a big box of them!

well, if the person you know says this, it could be true, why would that person lie.
just because they dont taste instant dont mean they aren't.
i think its possible, what machine do they have in the store that they can make real mashed potatoes.?
as long as they taste good i will eat their potatoes anyway.

Many resturaunts use instant mashed potatoes, I used to work at Ponderosa and I know for a fact they did.

If you knew what a real potato actually tasted like, you would not ask that question. But since all you have probably ever eaten is processed fast food and crap out of cans and boxes, what difference does it make anyway?

They are delish.....I worked at KFC for 1 summer and the potatoes come in 10 lb bags powdered, just add water and heat..
