I listen to 311 and sublime which has some reggae but what are some other bands or artists?

I forgot bob marley.

I don't mean SKA either. I want some high enegry reggae. Nothing really to get stoned to but to party to.

Sean Paul is ultra reggae and a top contemporary of the genre. And I don't think all of Bob Marley's songs are stonner material. Don't Worry About a Thing is a pretty good song.

Shabba Ranks, Patra, Born Jamericans, Shaggy, Elephant Man, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Supercat, Mr.Vegas, Wayne Wonder, it's alot more, and of course the great Bob Marley.

Of course Bob and Ziggy Marley. But try listening to Maxi Priest, Ub40, Shaggy, The Upsetters, Roman Stewart, Prince Allah, Lee Perry, Shabba Ranks, Gregory Peck, Shaka Demus, and Intense, just to name afew.

Bob Marley (of course), Damien Marley, Toots & Maytals, Bunny Wailer, Steel Pulse, Matayshu, Burning Spear and right now my most favorite of reggae bands is Spearhead. I saw them a couple weeks ago and they are awesome. Search these bands on your launchcast you will totally love them.

Those aren't really Reggae, but the tempo' could be considered part of the ska genre. Look up "ska" in your music sampling site. You'll probably get a lot of hits that you like. Stuff like Dropkick Murpheys, Rancid, etc....
