You just need to get outside AND out of the cities! There is a ton of fun outdoor recreation available in Arizona - hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, camping. Even just getting out of the hot desert areas is refreshing this time of year is fun. Flagstaff is cool and rainy right now, as is Prescott.
