The mortal soul is in your mind. You could never cut open a human body and physically hold the mortal soul in your hand. It becomes a way of life through energy and spirit. You mind is the toy box for all thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. Though it may not be physical...your physical body is your mortal souls puppet. So use it wisely and live a full life.

There is no mortal soul. Soul is God, and we are the reflections of Soul. Soul exists outside the body, and outside of time and space. So it doesn't make sense to think of Soul as existing at any particular location within time and space.

In my belief system, the soul pretty much hovers about the body, as an aura does. And My soul is ethereally connected to all other souls through fine silvery thread like substance. Much like the air in this room is also the air in the other room and all outdoors. And that is how we really are all One. One in the spirit. Get it? Got it? Good. It's all good.

Our mortal soul is bound up with God, our creator and redeemer. It is therefore within our heart and our brain figuratively. I say figuratively, because the heart, although simply a pump to send our blood around the body is always associated with our emotions, whilst the brain is associated with the logical thought processes that keep us going.
Our Mortal Soul is simply our personal relationship with God - Father, Son & Holy Spirit. During our lives here on earth that relationship is based on love. God's merciful love for us, our love for him which in turn is guided by our ability to show love for the people around us.
In very simple terms - God is love - Whilst our mortal soul is our spiritual being, related to God to a greater or lesser extent dependent on our willingness or ability to respond to that love.
After death, that mortal soul departs the body, and unless we have choen to reject him, will join God in his heavenly kingdom

Yes we do have a mortal soul. It is situated in the right little finger, just above the second knuckle within the bone marrow.

I've come to believe that the soul is immaterial, and immortal- that is- it exsists long after the shell of our bodies is gone. Our souls are all interconnected the soul resides all over our bodies, kind of like an aura.

We are mind, body, and spirit. Either you accept this fact or you don't. Creation attests to the wonder of God the Father, author of Life itself. If you have ever had a child, than you know what I mean. God the Son redeems us, and God the Holy Spirit, is the author of our inspiration, and the highest expression of the human spirit. You will fine your soul, when you lose yourself in the wonder of God all around you. Mother is the name of God, on the lips of children all over the globe,

When they do an autopsy on a body, guess what...they do not find a soul. The soul is a spiritual essence, not a body part like a toe or liver.

The eternal soul is the body and the spirit together. As Jesus again took up his body when He arose from the grave, So will we take up again our resurrected bodies to be united throughout eternity. This is our soul.

the soul has never been defined as something physical, so it can't be found in the body.
it's normally defined as the spiritual and "immortal" part of human being.
if you think of it as mind/memories/personality, these exist in the brain.
any damage to the brain can have a profound effect on the human being.
take away the brain and...?
