Your dream of flying is perfectly normal, however, it usually means that you are trying to flee some problem or that you see yourself overcoming a problem.

I also have had dreams of flying since I was in grade school. It is sooo neat. I use to dream so many times I flying away from someone or something. I checked it out , finally, about 2 weeks a go and found interpreting dreams. It says that you are trying to flee a situation or problem. The feeling about being free is escaping the situation. I still remember the time I dreamt that my teacher in school was chasing me. I flew up to a tree and then landed on the roof. Even today, when I am driving down the hightway, it makes me feel like I am flying again. I feel such a sense of freedom. But it hurts, my style, because I have a hard time working a job, in four walls. I feel trapped. Hey maybe , we were acutally angels, at one time! Ha Ha

I have the same dreams. It's pretty neat. Sometimes in the dream I'm afraid to go too high cause I may fall.. so now I've taught myself to land on roof tops or telephone lines or in trees, then leap out and fly to the next tree or building. Most of the time I'm trying to escape from something or someone. I think it just comes from too many movies and TV shows where people are being chased.

I've had dreams along the same line as this. Don't think I'm weird or making this up, but my dreams about me flying always end with me having an orgasm. So, I'd like to have a whole lot more dreams about me flying.

Flying in a dream is symbolic of sex. I have only flown a few times while dreaming........magnificent ! Heights are symbolic of spirituality (not religion). I do not remember the source of my info, but it was probably Jung. Good Luck !

Perhaps that is the reason... Your mind may be trying to help you get over your fear of heights by showing you how nice it is to fly.

I used to have the same dream but more like i'm swimming in the air. I think it has something to do with being in an ultimate comfortable state in bed.

Hehe, I can understand you, I've had about three dreams like that. It's thrilling! I don't know what you're trying to ask, do you need to know if it's a sign or what? =}
