I think so. Of course I'm not exactly in a "traditional" kind of male/female situation for reasons that have to do with all sorts of other stuff...but from what I have noticed. Female emancipation and economic independence have worked kind of like the Space Program. You can debate whether or not it's a good thing, but you can't debate the "spin-off" developments.

Because of female emancipation and economic independence, contemporary life is a bit more honestly varied, and I think that as a direct result of things like that, things are better between men and women. Not perfect. We still have a long way to go. But at least there are guys (gay and straight) who are able and willing to look back at history and see positive things women have done, and we can also look at the current world and see a bunch of women doing cool stuff and NOT be threatened by it.

The weirdest spin-off, however, I would have to say, regards the gay/lesbian rights movement. When looking at the arguments used against issues such as gay marriage and the like, you can see that they're EXACTLY the same arguments once used against the idea of women voting. Yes, women with the right to vote was once considered the foremost threat to the institutions of Marriage and Family. Mary Tyler Moore, in her days on the Dick VanDyke show could only wear pants in a very, very limited number of episodes, because the idea of a woman in pants was taken as the "flaunting" of a deviation from the American way...more or less. But women voting didn't destroy the fabric of American family and society, and women wearing pants didn't allow the Soviet Union to nuke us all to kingdom come. Of course some idiot might point out that the reason the Soviet Union didn't nuke us to kingdom come (and ultimately collapsed) was because Soviet women were too busy wearing pants.

As for direct male/female relations, I think that's more a matter of personal judgement, but I do feel that the playing field is at least a little more level (and it still has more leveling to to) but at least NOW there are guys (gay and straight and otherwise) who ARE absolutely comfortable with the idea of women as equals.

Thre was also a time, especially among gay guys where women were essentially "aliens" or something similar. But because of women's struggles and examples of women today, more gay men are seeing something in common between themselves and women of both straight and non-straight persuasions. So despite what you hear, there ARE at least some positive relations between gay men and lesbian/non-lesbian women.

Men (straight/gay/bi) who enjoy positive relations with women aren't always the guys people often hear about, but that's only because they're busy politely stating that there are positive impacts, while their more knuckle-dragging compatriots are rudely shouting that the only impacts are negative.

And in all honesty, there are a few women who seem to have personal grudges to settle with people with "outdoor plumbing" so to speak, and they're getting a lot more attention than the women who are living their daily lives SHOWING that such positive impacts have not only been made, but that they are continuing...

So in answer to your question, I'd say that female emancipation and economic independence HAVE had a positive impact on ALL human interrelations, not just male/female relations, and I think that there will (hopefully) be more.

As an emancipated and economic independent woman, I feel that they are coming around. Before men felt indignant and belittled that women were getting more freedom and coming into the workforce. In today's word I have seen the turn to take a more positive attitude towards women and their Independence.....
Let freedom ring
Happy 4th

In my opinion yes. I was born in 1969 and in spite of feminism, I grew up in an era when girls were still taught to act weak and subservient to attract a man. Today I see that girls are so much stronger and more independent because men are supposed to actually want a strong woman. Even if it's for the wrong reason, like she will bring home a bigger paycheck, this is absolutely freeing. Women can be individuals in a way that used to be so stifled.

Yes. By becoming more independent and strong, women contribute much more to society than than were able to before. Marriage is a less demeaning relationship for the women which means men have more of a partner in decisions and less of a financial burden.

For most females, yes. For most men, no. For their relationships, no. Having a partner is no longer a requirement or, it seems a need in our world. Which makes it hard on those who have been raised to think they don't have to multi-taskfor themselves. What is needed then? Why of course classes and training for those who have been left in the dust to multi-task.

the seen the 'devil' arose at a time whilst women have been many times seen powerless aside from bearing and rearing toddlers. as a result inspite of the reality that devil replaced into uniformly understood as male, the female have been even though seen the easy prey and as a result the oft charted direction for the devil to deprave the male concepts.
