I think that he is a good player, but he would be much better and more people would appreciate him if he hadn't taken steroids. Now I do realize that steroids can be used for medical purpose with a perscription from your doctor, but they should not be used for strength modification. I also think that it is Bonds fault that people dislike him. Yes his agent may have introduced him to steroids, but Bonds did not have to take them. I assume that if he plays more after this season, he will hit many more home runs, but he will not get all the credit. And I say that he will never pass Hank Aaron but that's only because I don't want him to :)!

His head is the size of John Candy as Zontar in the famous SCTV sketch. He was a jerk even before 'roids. Could not throw out slow-footed Sid Bream when the Bucs had their bets shot at the World Series.

He will be as forever tainted as the Chicago Balck Sox were no matter how many HRs he ends up with.

Has never endeared himself to the public or the media. He has a long hard road a head because of the steriod cloud hanging over him. It is my belief that he is guilty of taking them. If so he should never be allowed into the Hall Of Fame and any stats that he has compiled since 1997 should be stricken from the record books. HE'S A CHEATER!!

Makes you wonder how many homers Henry Aaron would have had ,had he been juiced up.But Bonds would not have been in the top 10 of anything without them. Not hall of fame material.Hall of shame maybe.

He was a Hall of Fame caliber player who was not satisfied with being a great player and decided to use performance-enhancing drugs to allow himself to exhibit legendary performance.

One of the top 3 of all time. But seems like nothing but an afterthought now.

Just another Metabolic liar.

He couldn't hold Babe Ruth's jockstrap.

Old George got his strength from beer and hotdogs.
Besides, look at Ruth's career. He was outstanding at everything.
