My husband, who is a coach, was asked by a head coach interviewing him if he knew what it meant. His reply, "For me, it simply means that I injured my left ring finger knuckle playing baseball, and my wedding ring will not fit over it." Any answers to the question, please?

LOL!! I just asked my husband for the 8th time why he leaves his ring on the counter in the bathroom, why he leaves it in his car, et cetera et cetera. He's just forgetful and doesn't want to get sweaty finger itis. Then he drilled me a long list of how it doesn't mean he is ______________ (fill in the blanks with every possibility). So, please put your mind to rest and live vicariously through me. Also, if he were to ever slip and tell the real studly reason, he would have done it during that interview.

My husband has to wear his ring on his right hand....he broke his left ring finger (along with two others) while working construction and can no longer get a ring over the knuckle. But what did the head coach mean? Is there another meaning that we are unaware of?

First of all, why would he have it off ? If he had it on in the first place the why would he have trouble getting it back on? See what I am saying?

Now with that said, wearing your wedding ring on the opposite hand means that you are married but you are having trouble , are separated or have come to an understanding And are seeing other people.

The reason that I know this is that I have had a few guys come on to me and when I asked them why they were wearing a band on that finger, that is what they told me. But they didn't want to throw it away yet because they were still married or they just couldn't do it yet.

Hope I helped.

If that is the best excuse that he can come up with for not wearing his wedding ring on his left hand then that is just sad. to fix the problem go get the ring resized to fit over his left knuckle, if he makes up an excuse for that, he is doing something sneaky...watch it!!!!

if it bugs you so much address it with him...I've played baseball and softball and it is possible to injure a finger so that a ring will not fit on that finger
