When I was a teenager, I once woke up with 2 dead legs. I was half asleep and panicked because I couldn't feel them, so I dived out of bed, tried to stand - fell over and cracked my head on the wall. It took 30 minutes massaging to get them working again.
Another time I awoke with something cold and clammy around my neck. I knocked it off and started thumping it with my right hand, that's when I discovered that it was my left hand that had gone dead.
I am ok now - I think. It was 25 years ago.
