what is probability that north korea will engage us in war?

Slim to none. They wish we would engage them, but they will never actively engage us. They have all of their missles set up along the DMZ, along the border of South Korea. They wouldn't want to bring the war elsewhere, so unless we go in to attack they will never try to fight us.

We know they are playing games, so I don't think we will overreact to the missles they just launched. Besides, it has pissed off south korea, Japan, and hopefully China/Russia as well. People need to wake up and realize that the US isn't the problem in the world.

100%, because we are still at war with them from the conflict that began in 1950. There was a cease-fire at the end of the Korean War, but never a peace treaty, so the war technically continues to the present day.

50%, they just test-launched 4 scud missiles. But if they ever do engage us in a war; they will get smoked by US, Japan and other nations. This is a new era, new warfare tactics, it won't be another korean war like that of the 50's

I am not sure if NK is a threat to us, as much as they are a threat to our allies in the region. The regime in control does not look stable and I am sure a civil war would break out before a global one does.

Slim because they are angling to make the US talk to them and offer concessions to get them to give up nukes and missiles. Nevertheless they are capable of using a nuke regardless of the consequences so do not relax yet!!!
