ive alreayd asked this question but didnt get the answers i wanted. i need some new rock bands to lsiten to. all the stuff i listen to is starting to get old. i listen to mostly punk rock and heavy metal. i listen to bands like black sabath, ac dc, motley crue, the virus, the misfits, disturbed, metallica, ozzy osbourne, skid row, anthrax and alot more that i cant remember. i need some new bands to listen to that are heavy metal or punk. and if u could name a few songs to start me off that would be great..

Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction, Filter, Cold, Velvet Revolver, Soundgarden, Audio Slave, Godsamck, Disturbed, Red Hot Cilli Peppers,Linkin Park, ...these are just a few bands that you might enjoy..check them out man.. hope i can help ya.
Ohh try some older stuff like ..The Doors , Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd...

Fall Out Boy, Three Doors Down, Simple Plan, The Fray, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Godsmack, Matchbox Twenty, etc. Just depends on if you like their sound or not.

have you heard of psychobilly? if your interest lie within punk,rockabilly,metal,goth,horror movies or any combination therof,you're in for a treat because psychobilly is all of this and more.psychobilly takes all of those genres that i mention and takes it to a new levels where the stand-up bass is played faster,the hair is rasied higher and the attitude is....well let's just say the psycho attitude contains a bold mixture of 50's
nostalgia,punk rebellion,dark humor and tattooed skin.

Most people have had most of the answers i would suggest, but try listening to Hedley. They're not a very known band, but they're great.

Go to small clubs and bars in your area and discover new talent. Also watch Tommy Lees new show, where they will find someone to join their band.
