There should be legal records of the adoption (I assume that you were adopted, but correct me if I'm wrong). Depending on the laws of the state where the adoption took place, you should be able to access those records. Of course, you may have already done that, and that's how you know the names. In which case, I suggest www.anywho.com -- if you have a name and a city, the site can return phone numbers and addresses if they're listed. Good luck on your search.

Simple searches on anywho.com and msn white pages - then start checking hospitals in/near where you were born. Trying to locate relatives on those sites as well may help you locate them. and all of those searches are free.

You could try talking to your parents now and try to find out more info. You try going to Social Services as well.
