Your chiropractor and your doctor are coming from very different clinical perspectives so it's not surprising that you think some of the advice you've been given is 'wrong'. Truth is, neither of them really know, they are simply employing different diagnostic approaches.

Advice: rest, be patient, top up on the pain-killers and keep asking questions.

Good luck.

A trapped nerve is as it sounds its like when your leaning on a leg or arm and you feel your pulse but in this case the pressure shoots up your arms and legs- so I'm told by my mother, but I pretty sure she went to the doctor they put her on some medicine or gave her some cream and it was gone....I dont think it is possible unless youve had it for quite long or your going to have any of your bones removed around it! Im sure only then can your nerve be damaged, sounds like you need a masage to circulate blood flow and the nerve? Try going to the doctor? But maybe its been knocked out of the joint im sure they can be popped back into place easily

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse, stop going to the chiropractor, they aren't all there cracked up to be. Go to an acupuncturist/acupressurist, if anyone can help you they can. I know because i am an acupressurist.

well, keep going to the chiropractor. your bones are always getting knocked out of place. its imposible for them to not move. go the the chiropractors for about another week every other day. hopefully it will get better.
