its actually VERY Good for you (with the high protein and all)! there in no harm is swallowing, you might actually enjoy it as well.

Beyond what everyone else has said, I think it depends on your husband. From a man's point of view, it's great. But there is a sado-masochistic component to it. Most men feel that swallowing is the ultimate capitulation on a woman's part. If your husband is the narcissistic, domineering, sadistic type, maybe you don't want to play into it by complying b/c it may make him even worse (do you want to be an enabler). However, if he already treats you with respect, but you both play a harmless little S/M game in the bedroom, maybe you do want to swallow. I guarantee you will get some brownie points if you do:) As for STDs, not much gets by the pH 2 hydrochloric acid in your stomach. Much better to have it there than in your vagina if STDs are a concern.

It is fine to swallow and some women love it. It is true that it can taste like whatever the man has consumed. I heard if a man drinks alot of coffee that their semen will have a hint of coffee flavor. I will not reveal whether or not I know this from experience... ;) Semen is packed with vitamins and protein so it is actually good for you if the guy has no STD's, of course.

If you are comfortable with swallowing it is not a problem. As for taste I guess I would say salty. I have never minded. Just make sure he is clean when you are having oral sex. Once you have swallowed you will be able to decide if it is something you want to keep doing or not. I think everyone has there own preferance.

Yes, I would say that's okay, but I don't know what your husband's semen tastes like, so I can't help there. I've never noticed semen to have that much of a taste to it at all, really.

The high protein thing is somewhat of a myth. There is not really very high protein in it, semen is mostly very sugary.
The swallowing is fine though. It's not going to hurt you unless he's got an std.

Swallowing is fine. Semen is loaded with tons of vitamins and has been known to be good for your complexion. It's a matter of personal preference.

there is nothing wrong that i know of swallowing semen while having oral sex. at least you don't have to worry about getting pregnant

It's perfectly OK for you and not harmful at all.
He will love it! I'm told it tastes salty, but if you "deep throat" it, and take it far back and swallow it down that way, you won't taste it at all.
Your husband is so lucky.........
He might get spoiled!

I guess it's okay to swallow, just remember that STD's can still be transferred through oral. umm... it tastes different depending on what he ate, I think O.o
