If it's not on long it's easier to peel off otherwise.....
-heat it evenly with a hairdryer on high so that the adhesive becomes tacky
- peel off
- remove any left over adhesive with rubbing alcohol
Try using a less permenent way to stick it on so that it doesn't make your friend to angry.

Most bumper stickers are made with some pretty tough glue so they will last on your vehicle for a good long while. It could be very difficult to get off.
If you put it on glass it may be somewhat easier to get it off with a razor blade, so you won't have to worry about damaging the cars body paint.
You COULD leave the backing on the sticker, and use some cheap double sided tape for your joke, and give your friend the option of putiing it on the car properly themselves later on.

Use a blow dryer to warm up the adhesive. If any is left on the bumper after you peel it off, use rubbing alcohol to remove it.

No, they are very hard to get off, but if you use a sticky tac or something instead of peeling off the backing, that should do the trick.

Not unless he has a chrome bumber/ then you can get it off with a hair dryer. Call a car place that sells parts and cleaners and ask.

No, it can take awhile to get it off and then you're probably going to leave scratches getting it off.

Not really. They can pull off paint or leave a nasty residue.
