Go to your 'control panel' and go into 'user accounts'. Make sure you enter your name as administrator by using 'create new account'
and then you can delete your daughter's administrator status or modify it, or disable it. If you're using XP, you should have no problem doing that.

If that does NOT work, You will need to go into the initial setup screen on your computer and disable the passwords including that of the administrator. How you get into that setup is displayed IMMEDIATELY when the computer boots up and not all makes of computers use the same access key like 'F2'.

Enter your own administrator ID and password, then you can remove any you don't need.

Are you admin, or have the Administrator account password (hopefully). Simply go into Control Panel| User accounts and make sure that any accounts you have are set appropriately. The account type for Admins should be Admin, and others should be limited.

You should already be in administration mode when you first create an account on XP.
