It depends on if you are disabled or simply the child of a SSI recipient. Try calling Legal Aid, they will be able to help you, and if you qualified for SSI you should qualify for their help. In Your local police station should have the number if you can't find it.

They won't. Unless you have a mental disability the checks will come directly to you rather than your parent/guardian. If you get SSI because you have a mental disability (no offense - just explaining the process) then you will still need someone to accept and administrate your funds for you.

Do nothing, you no longer qualify, at 18 your considered an adult and can no longer get a free ride, you will have to get a job and earn money NOW, and it's about time!

if you were getting the check cause of a parent being deceased and you were in school, go back to school, they will continue the checks as long as your in school
