how do i reformat my computer so that my ipod can go back to normal?

i let some else use it they messed it up i want in back fixed someone said i should reformat it how do i do that

reformat your IPOD, not your computer!!

go here and find what is wrong and follow the directions

install the latest iPod update from iTunes.com. then plug in your iPod and hit the "Restore" button on the updater. It'll erase every song and reset the whole thing.
