first you set -3x + 4=0. so x for that = -4/3

then the second part there really is no way to show typing on the computer, but the answer ends up being 18x^3 -24x^2 +12x -35 R: 50 2/3

You cannot simplify it further on. You can use 1 in place of all Xs but that is the only thing you can do. For the top part there is no common factor. If the top remains like that there is no like term in it for -3x+4 to divide. So you can put in 1.
If you use 1 for x you get -13.
