water forms around dust particles in the air (which forms a cloud) these water covered dust particles become heavy enough that they fall to earth or a cloud can literally run into a mountain and this jiggles lose the water

when a source of liqiud on the ground evaporates the liquid gathers in the cloud. when the cloud has so much water that it cant hold any more then it will rain. Depending on how much water each cloud is holing at the time of rainfall is how much rain we get. This process is called condensation.

When water gets evaporated by heat, it raises up to the sky and held by the air, which form clouds. When water is evaporated, it is stored in the clouds. When the clouds get full, rain starts.
