All chatrooms i have been to everybody wants to talk about sex. No real conversations about anything but sex and cam2cam sex. Get over yourselves

It's a function of how many 10 to 13 year-olds there are posting all over the Internet without adult supervision. Parents use the Internet like they use TV--it keeps a kid busy and out of their hair. The Internet (including Yahoo Answers and chats) becomes a place for prepubescent potty-mouths who have nothing worthwhile to do.

I had the same problem but found a great chatroom environment at PalTalk.
Yahoo chatrooms are the pits.

As soon as they get good they get infested. Can't be helped. Some places offer restricted access, normally common interest sites. Whats your best hobby? search for forums for that and see.

Most of yahoo chat are all bots, so you jsut have to keep looking, yahoo is not the best for chats, sorry.
