I always thought Clay Aiken should have won it... but what the heck happened to fat Reuban??? I don't hear anything about him...

Mr. Studdard is still alive and kicking. He has had his share of medical and financial issues - but the financial issues have not been 'him being sued' - that's for sure! Actually, he won MILLIONS in a law suit. He designed his own clothing and someone came along and tried to rip them off as their own - and got 'their' money taken from them. Mr. Studdard has always been a low profile type person. Being a winner was never about 'the big time'- with all the lights and whistles. He is just a down to earth - very loving and caring man who loves his family and friends and wants to do the right thing. God bless him wherever he is - and whatever he is doing - we all hopefull wish him well as his counterparts.

Rueben did a cd in 2004, and then he disappeared. I ahve no clue where he is right now. Clay Aiken's been doing more things than he has. Although, Reuben did show up not in person but on VH1 with Sorry 2004, being on the countdown for 50 Worst Songs Ever. LOL.

Ruben Studdard's third album, Return of the Velvet Teddy Bear, due for release on September 26, 2006, goes back to his R&B roots, but is different from his previous efforts. Studdard is collaborating with the artist Ne-Yo, on this album.
