Hiya, don't wait until the nght of the party to put on the makeup for the first time - have some practice sessions between this and then.

Here are a few tips: wash, tone and moisturise your face then wait about 10 minutes to apply the foundation or tinted moisturiser.

Squeeze out JUST A LITTLE of the make up onto the back of your hand, then apply it with a little makeup sponge working from the centre of your face on to your cheeks, down to your chin and on your forehead. The key thing to remember is "less is more". You want to look natural not caked in makeup - too much is a major turn off. Spend a few minutes blending it and avoid having a line ending at the side of your jaw.

Take a middle size makeup brush and apply some blusher. Again not too much. Smile at your self in the mirror and apply the blush to the apple of your cheek and sweep it upwards.

Then on to the eyes. I'd suggest you go for a cappucino and lilac combination - very in at the moment. Again 'less is definitely more' you don't want to look like something from the blue rinse brigade of a bygone age.

Finish off the eyes with some brown mascara - more flattering than black. Put it on your top eyelashes first and then the lower ones. Don't panic when it smudges as you put it on - just have some cotton buds handy and wipe of the little smudge.

Use some nice gloss - keep it a soft, gentle colour.

Wash and style your hair early in the day so you can relax about that part.

Hey presto! you're done!!

As I said practice it all a number of times and on the night of the party start getting ready good and early.

I bet you'll be the belle of the ball!

I don't know what products you have but this is the order I apply them.

1. start with your foundation. Make sure you blend it well (i find working with your fingers is the best because the warmth from your fingers make the product blend more easily.) near the hairline, jawline, and near your ear. You don't want lines.

2. Apply concealer under the eye (use your ring finder since the skin under your eye is the most sensitive and thinnest skin on your body).

3. Powder to set your foundation.

4. Next eyeshadow. for a natural look take a taupe or vanilla color (these colors look great on most people) sweep it across your entire lid. If you want to go for a more evening look take a darker color apply it on the corner of the lid and into the crease. When you apply it in the crease go halfway don't do the whole crease.
**Apply a white shadow underneath the brow bone to highlight it. Start from your arch and bring it to the end of your brow.

5. Eyeliner. Apply the eyeliner on the top next to the lashline as close as you can. Start from the middle of the lid and bring it to the end of the lid. Then you want to line a little bit under your bottome lashline. Less than hapf way. You just want to makesure the tope and bottom lines are connected. The shape should be like this <.

6. Blush. Look into the mirror and smile. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks.

7. Mascara (mascara should always be one of the last things you apply because powder falls on your lashes and you want to brush it away.) If you have a mascara mishap where the mascara gets underneath your eye or whatever wait a minue until you wipe it away. If you wipe it right away it will leave a streak. If you wait a minute for it to dry and then remove it wil a Q tip it won't smudge.

8. Lipgloss.

*****Just remember when you apply the makeup less is more. you can always add more but it is very difficult to wipe off what you have already put on. You should also practice a few times before you go just so you get it down.

Good luck!

I usually start with foundation. I cover my face and really make sure that the tone is rubbed in and works well with my skin color. Then, I like to add blush on my cheeks, usually lightly. Next, I add a white base color a little above and on my eyelid. Then, I add a light shade of the color I am using, and on top of that, the darker shade of the color. After that I add mascara, and a little eye liner around my eye. Last, I usually apply the shade of lipstick that I'm using and then add a shimmery or even clear lipgloss to go on top, just to make the lipstick color stand out and shine. I never use lip liner because it isn't really necessary, but unless you want to, outline the lip first and then add the color you want. Make sure that the lip liner is close to the color of your lipstick. If not, it might look a little silly. If this doesn't really help you, I reccommend going to a nearby make up store and asking someone who works there, or gives makeovers in the store about how to apply make up. I'm sure they would help you tremendously.

Hey I'm Gabby And i will help you, here are some tips:

blush- Suck in cheecks, and appply it with a blush brush, not too much,, try suudel natural looking colors apply the blush to the top bone, when you suck in your cheecks.

eye shadow- for eyeshadow, find a very light natural color and put it everywhere on your eyelid, all the way up to your eyebrow. find a nice color, not too dark for you eyelid, then add a darker color ( not too much darker, and a close color to the one on the lid) have the person open their eyes and put that darker color on their crease.

lip stick- (do not wear a very very neon, or bright color on your lips!) put some chapstick on first so that when you put the lipstick on it looks good. Then put lipstick on the peachey part of your lips, everywhere on lips, but make sure not to draw your own lips just put it on the redish part, wich is your whole lips.

eye liner- put it directley on the bottom lashes, dont put too much just a little bitt

If you have bad skin, (acne), i reccomend putting this on before everything, put it everywhere onyour face, neck, and chest, so that it looks natural, pick a color foundation the same color as your natural skin or a bit lighter.

I'm only 11 but i have sisters in their 20s so if i helped you E-mail me back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Good Luck

if you don't know how to do it properly, don't try and do it. it will probably go wrong, and even if it doesn't, people will notice you are wearing make-up if you don't wear it usually, and they will ask about it. if you are willing to spend money, hire a proffesional stylist. they will do your hair too. some hairdressers do make-up. or buy a book on how to apply make up. if it is your first time wearing make-up, don't wear it too heavily. try it out a few days beforehand, and find a combination that suits you, or your outfit. keep the make-up in a theme, not like black and blue on your eyes and then purple lipstick then bright green foundation and blood-red blusher. Unless you want to look like a monster, of course. :P

Seeing as you dont normally wear it and its a one off, treat yourself and go to a salon and have your make up done professionally.

I would of loved to have told you this before you bought your makeup, cos it probably would have been cheaper!

Ask lots of questions and ask if you can hold a mirror as the beauty therapist applies the make up so you can see what she does, and ask lots of questions.

Start small.a little eyeliner, not black.Idon't know what color your eyes are. but blue eyes look good with gray or blue eyeliner. Black mascara, don't let it clump, and finally some pink or rose blush.
Another suggestion if you can afford it ,go to a good department store and head for the cosmetics counter. They will tell you what looks good on you,one word of caution, these people want to sell you products.Let them know you're on a budget.. Have fun!!

firstly cleanse tone and moisturise, wait five minutes then apply foundation using a make up sponge. apply with one side and rub in with the other. then using a powder puff apply the powder and dust off with powder brush this will help your make up stay on longer. then apply your eye shadow, mascara, blusher and then finally the lips simple have a few practices before hand so you get it to perfection.
