The past 4 or 5 days I've been cramping like I'm on my period but I only spotted a tiny bit of light brown blood. My breasts are very tender but I don't feel sick. Could I be pregnant? Please help!

It could be premenstrual syndrome. How well do you keep track of your monthly cycle. Sometimes you will have these symptoms before beginning your period, but I would not rule out anything at this point. The biggest question at this point is do you have a reason to think you should be pregnant right now? Are you late for your period? Have you had unprotected sex? Are you trying to get pregnant? There are also a number of other female problems it could be if neither are true. When was your last "exam" Try to remember when your last period started. If you don't start your period by the time you are roughly a week after a full 28 days since you last started, I would get a pregnancy test. If you determine you are NOT pregnant, you should see a Gynecologist to determine what the problem is.

With my first son,I kept waiting for my period because I was cramping so badly.During my whole pregnancy,I would have really bad cramps when I would normally have had my period. You can wait a few days before getting tested,of course, but definitely hold off on any alcohol or any drugs-legal or otherwise-until you know for sure. And if you smoke,it's a good idea to at least cut way back until you know for sure.Keep in mind that your first test might come back negative even if you are pregnant.Just don't wait too long because it could be ectopic(in a fallopian tube) and it is dangerous to let that go too long. Most women don't have periods with those pregnancies, but my first pregnancy was ectopic and I had a normal period, then didn't stop bleeding the second one.If you keep cramping,or they get worse and you think you're pregnant, get an ultrasound ASAP.I hope I've been helpful!

Oh stars! Honey, when was your last menstrual period? Have you been to the doctor? Mama's not trying to scare the p-jeebers out of you, but you need to go to your GYN and get a pregnancy test(or you can go to the drug store and get you one of those home pregnancy tests). If you are pregnant, get you some prenatal care, if that's what you want to do. Take care, dear. It's gonna be alright.

You could very well be. I've been pregnant three times and each time I've had my period for one day and stop. So you might need to go to the doctor and find out for sure.

I am not a doctor, but different women in my family experienced the same pain, all different problems. One lady was pregnant, one has a sist(?) on her ovaries, and one got her period a week later. Me myself, I had pains like that when my cycle was just changing. Good luck!!
