I think it it ia fifty-fifty proposition You are pretty much free to do as please, but nobody is going to put that firearm in your hands and force you to kill your neighbor. You do have choices. You make your choices and live with them

The way I look at it, every event that takes place right now is a result of a series of factors, that are themselves a result of a series of factors etc. For example, intellectually we can say that the probability of a die that is thrown coming up any given number is one-in-six. However, if we have an in depth enough understanding of the circumstances surrounding the throwing of the die (the constant of static friction between the die and the table, the wind resistance, the exact trajectory and force it leaves the hand with, and a million other virtually impossible factors to learn) and if we can put those into a comprehensive and complex enough formula, we would be able to say positively which way the die would come up. How early we're able to predict what the die will show will depend on how many precipitating facts we can get our hands on. Maybe the person throwing the die is tired, so they'll throw it more softly than they otherwise would have, thereby affecting the outcome, etc. The bottom line: fate exists, but it's virtually impossible in most cases to predict what our fate truly is.

There is a Cause beneath of Destiny which is unknown. Guessing that Cause is known would lead to illusion of predestination which seems to be real.

I think your destiny is determined by what you do today.
Some things are determined by birth, some by the experiences you have had so far and some by what you do today.
