They launched missile to hit Japan's sea or something like that. I know, I was watching Oprah and it scared the crap out of me, my heart literally stopped until they said it was only a test and they were hitting the water... That's how I perceived it, anyway, I hope they won't launch one near us...

I was watching an interview about a week ago on the Charlie Rose show with Henry Kissinger as the invited guest. The gist of the story is, as pertaining to this question, Henry Kissinger said that we are really in a much more dangerous place now than we were in the early 1960's when just us and the Russians had the bomb. Back in those days, when it was just us two, they had competent scientists and politicians who recognized that nuclear war would be reciprocal annihilation, and that they had the same logical, healthy fear of it as us. They weren't completely stupid. Now, Kissinger rightly fears that there are a lot more triggers, many more countries have their fingers on nuclear triggers, and there are a lot more leaders of countries out there who do not share the understanding that the US and the Soviets did back then. We are statistically approaching the day when a careless or uninformed leader or zealot will pull one of those many triggers. I fear Kissinger is right.....the danger is probably higher than it ever has been and will only get worse.

Chill out. First of all, testing a missle is just a political manuver, not a millitary attack. Second of all, the US won't be a target. Japan, South Korea, or China (if they have a death wish) are the more likely targets. Saying they do launch at one of those three countries, they won't be around long enough after to cause much of a threat. China tends to take care of problems that are near it. Also, find something to occupy yourself so you don't worry. Worrying can't change anything. There is no point to it. Chill out and enjoy life.

No, the missiles are just a diversion, or a means to provoke a US attack. The north Koreans don't need to fool around with dodgy missiles to service their targets. They have sleeper agents in the major cities of the USA building bombs, or sitting next to completed ones. There are also up to 70 nuclear devices in the hands of al Qaida operatives in the USA. So, don't fret about the missiles, but don't be surprised if it all blows up in your face anyway. Good luck.

Nope. But Korea does have a warhead missile capable of carrying nuclear material that could hit Alaska. If it happens, it will be an all out nuclear holocaust; Korea's and our missiles would pass each other in midair killing millions.

Scared? No.
Threatened? Yes, absolutely.
I hope the President makes a preemptive strike and destroys Korea's military infrastructure.

there are so many nuts out there that you can't worry
about them all so why worry over one. think about it
you could also be felled by a falling meteorite, trampled
be a herd of stampeding elephants, or eaten by a school
of Parana. and yes i am talking about in the us. statically
it could happen but it probably will not so why waste my
time worrying.

I'm not, i'm more afraid of US and Russia's missiles, since they are THOUSANDS! Why worry about 1 missile? we have to worry about world's rockets, they can erase all life on this planet.
Get real!
