First hand observation of an event is the most direct way for viewers to see the truth of what happened, rather than a reporter's description of it.

Broadcasts from the field show viewers the physical evidence of what happened for example, Flooded houses in New Orleans, collapsed buildings in New York, etc.

This is necessary so that viewers can be better infomred of curren events. Outside boracats producstion allow journalist to be one the scene of an event and ot give a fir hand accoutn of the event to member of the general public.
