'Eew, Yuck' is just a cover up to hide thier jelousy at the fact that we, superior creatures of the oppsite sex, will never go bald and can lose as much hair as we like without worrying. Bet you'll find him with his arm down the plughole trying to fish it all out to make a wig for the future!!!

First of all, the stuff that you see on peoples'
heads is dead. This is called the hair shaft. However, the hair is
manufactured in the scalp in a piece of tissue called the hair follicle. The cells here are alive.
Second, why are you so lazy that you can't clean out your shower? That IS "ew".

If they see loads, they don't know that's it's built up in the plug over time, so they might think you've prematurely aged or are unwell.
Also they might not know who's it is or where it has come from ;-)

I don't! It's yukky to dig a mile-long rope of hair out of a blocked U-bend, but that's plumbing, not girls.
