The last time my friend was pregnant she put up signs on poles along the route that her husband takes home from work. Each pole had part of the message. The first was his name (first & last), the second was "you're gonna", the third was "be a ", the fourth was "dad again". Worked great. By the time he got home from work, half of the town knew.

do no longer understand approximately friends. yet we advised my entire relatives approximately our first being pregnant at Christmas. (i replaced into approximately 13 weeks.) My relatives opens presents together. So we gave my mum and dad a tiny container with an ornate pair of toddler booties. the cardboard mentioned that the wearer of the shoes replaced into "backordered" till June, and that the stork could me making the transport as a replace of Santa. 2 Christmases later, our daughter wore a T-shirt to Christmas dinner that mentioned, "i'm the super sister." It took a on a similar time as for human beings to seize on--replaced into it a hand-me-down or have been we attempting to tell them something?--yet ultimately all and sundry figured it out.

help with dinner when you go over for a family dinner. Set the table. On each plate, put a baby bottle. I know some people that have used Jessi's idea. I think thats really cool to do too.

My aunt and uncle told our family by dressing their toddler son (who, at the time, was an only child) in a t-shirt that proclaimed "I'm the big brother" and sending him out into the middle of a family gathering. I thought that was pretty cute (though of course it won't work if this is your first child)...
Congratulations!

I got some flowers, then invited my parents to dinner when my mom asked what they were for I said, "to congratulate you". "On what?" she says. "On becoming a grandma!" The whole restraunt knew after that.
His family I told them that we weren't getting married in September anymore. When they said "why?" I said "because I don't think I'm gonna fit into my dress." One sister in law to be didn't catch on at first but the others filled her in.
