Gentlemen, I received a e-mail from a friend of mine, it suggests that microsoft will be paying money to users that forward this message. It sounds to good to be true. It appears to be a phishing scam. Please advise what to do

If you ever have a question about any email you receive, or for that matter any news story, rumor, historical anecdote etc., your first stop should be the site I've linked below.

And yes, the microsoft money for email forwarding is a hoax that has been forwarded repeatedly for many years now.

You will not receive money to forward the e-mail you will just be helping to forward spam.
