Yep. It's overconfidence mixed with arrogance. Brazil may have to eat dirt for four years, but they'll come back humbler and more determined in four years. You're right, everyone was SURE that Brazil would win. It's a lesson to us all. (It's like the creator of the Titanic who said the ship was so strong nothing could destory it --not even God). Whoa.

In actual fact, it is quite improbable that anything any fan says or doesn't say will affect the outcome of the match.
Just try to say shutout to a goalie in the third period of a hockey game or no hitter to a pitcher in the seventh inning though.

not really causewen portugal beat england i was sure portugal was gonna win and dey did!!!but i understand wat u sayin cause its happened 2 me many times!! 4 example da euro 2004 i was sure portugal was gonna win but greece won.
