I don't think that when an email is dated is considered relevant to whether or not that email is spam. If the date on your Mom's PC is off kilter and running a week fast, would you want Yahoo mail to assume that her mail is spam?

There wold have to be a date detection rule added to their filters. This is a bit different than straight content analysis.

I've seen stuff dated years off. The idea is to keep it at the top of your inbox for as loong as possible. Mark as spam and delete. Yahoo's filters will pick on other stuff in those emails and soon be blocking them.
