I can't remember whether this was a movie or a miniseries (might have been on the Sci Fi Channel, not sure). Anyway, One of the early scenes was of a plane going down while one of the pilots acted like a little kid. A guy on the plane was somehow saved, and it turns out that the girl sitting next to him had teleported him and her and their seats out of the plane before it crashed. He has to take care of this girl. It turn out that this girl was from an asylum/research facility/something where there was also a little boy who could control other people. This boy wanted to kill the girl for some reason, and he had taken control of one of the pilots of the plane in an attempt to kill the girl. The kid takes control of person after person to try to kill the little girl. Ultimately, he takes control of the guy protecting the girl, and makes him stop their car in front of an oncoming train. The girl teleports the guy and herself away just in time.

Its like a 2 part series and I saw it on Starz its called Sole Survivor and its a girl and a woman that survive the crash and the girls father goes looking for her and it ends up with some sort of governmental experiment place where they have children that have special abilities, they give then numbers instead of names so they do not become attached
