Erm...isn't the iPod an mp3 player?

I prefer I-Pod, because it comes with its own software for you to use on it, and also the look is great, and its design, also. It also has warranties and all kinds of things, along with very good headphones. MP3's are okay, but I wouldn't want it. In the end, its up to you. Plus, the fact that there are different I-Pods of sizes, such as 1 Gig, 4 Gig, 20 Gig, etc., and the option of playing videos or storing pictures is useful.

I have neither, but I go to a college where people talk about this stuff all the time. Ipods are jsut commercial. They're not as good as other mp3 players at the same price. I recommend an mp3 player of the non-ipod variety.

Ipod. It doesn't need a certain application for download and easily imported to Itunes. Also along with mp3 you can also store data . There is no comparison and at its current low price they are a much better buy than any mp3

the person above is wrong.. ipod is not an mp3 player. it does not play mp3.. it play itunes.. i would say get one that fits u most

anyways i would suggest u buy crative zen rather than IPOD
cos it has radio and much cheaper than ipod

iPod are MP3 player in simplicity. it depends on what your main use is, and what kind of crazy stuff you want on it.
