Luvs stink. Even before you put them on the baby. I tried them once, never again. Saving $0.52 was not worth it! I also tried those cheap ones from Walgreens, those smell like manure I think!
I personally like Pampers, they're the best for non-leakage. I also called the company and they gave me some great coupons. Stock up when they're on sale, and use the coupons. You'll get a higher savings using diaper coupons, than using other brands without a coupon anyways.
I like Huggies for pullups. They're better for non-leakage.
Oh, and I have really sensitive skin - I buy the Huggies dark red box baby wipes. It's getting harder & harder to find wipes without aloe these days!

Being first time parents we started off by buying the "best" Huggies, and over time we have learned that White Cloud are great, they have the velcro sides that will attach/detatch easily and work just as well as the Huggies. We tried Luvs one time, but we prefer the White Cloud. They run around $15 a box at Wal-mart.
(the amount per box differs upon the sizes, size 4 has about 110 diapers)

My sons were thin/ tall babies. I found Pampers fit the best. Luvs and Huggies leaked. They were not tight enough around their legs. Until I tried Pampers, I was constantly placing a pee pad under my sons, readjusting their diapers, and worrying about them leaking. I recommend checking out the diaper company websites and join their free membership for new moms. A lot of the time they send you free samples or coupons. This way you can find the best fit for your child. Every child is a blessing.

I HATE HATE HATE Luvs. They are not worth the money you save. I buy Huggies Sypreme at just a dollar or two more and they fit great! Luvs tear and rip and don't fit the right way and they don't absorb well. They're junk! Huggies or Pampers ONLY!!

The generic diapers are getting much better. Luvs are fine. Don't waste your money on expensive diapers. I buy the grocery store brand of the supreme diapers for my daughter and they have not leaked once.

Oh goodness! Now I'm gonna have to tell my age...LOL! Darlin' I personally had a hate/disgust relationship with Luvs diapers for my kids. The best ones to me were Huggies! They didn't break my girls' out and they could crawl, run, and be comfy. Certain stores have deals on Huggies if you have a coupon, better yet go online! I tell ya, go with the name brands, but Huggies are the best! Good luck to you, darlin'!

i havent tried luvs because i heard they sucked, but when my son was born we tried the regular pampers, pampers swaddlers, the regular huggies, huggies supreme, and white cloud. the white cloud are like cardboard. i would never recommend them. the regular pampers and huggies were okay, but not great. and the sticky tabs dont stick well on the huggies supremes. so we went with the swaddlers. he is now in the cruisers and we havent had any problems with leaking.. except for a few times when he was in between sizes and we made the mistake of buying the bigger size. but even then it wasnt bad,(lil pee on the floor) and wasnt the diapers fault.

Wel,, I've never used Luvs, but Pampers Swaddlers are great to me, better than Huggies. I use huggies sometimes, the regular huggies suck BIG time. The Huggies Supremes are slightly better, but have a gross smell when the baby pees just once.

I use huggies..they seem to work best with my daughter although when she was born we used the pampers swaddlers and they worked well also untill her thighs got chunky then they didnt fit...i never used luvs...i buy huggies also because they are a Upromise item to save money for my daughter for college. A thing i dont like about Pampers is that they have a fragrence in them and your baby can be illergic to it
