No, I don't think so. Perhaps you can lose love forever between yourself and another person, but maybe love will come along again with someone else.

You can fall in love repeatedly. It depends on the kind of person you are. I have been in love several times. I have had a love that lasts forever and my husbands screwed up, but I don't believe love can be lost so I am in it a 3rd time. I think it's the charm. If it's not and this doesn't last, I'll believe your question, but right now I have known him for 10 years and it was a slow growing love. We starting dating 4 years ago and it has been wonderful.

Love is never lost. You can access your memory of your very first love and that memory can trigger a chemical reaction. You still have love for that person and every person you have ever loved. You can still find the same feelings for each of those loves regardless of their where abouts or new circumstances. Love is what you feel for someone else. Not how they feel in return or what you feel about their feelings for you.
