What can i genuninly do- as a gesture to say i am sorry- i've really peed off my partner and maybe done it one too many times

basically I checked up on what he was doing last night- and didnt believe what he said- but he was telling the truth it seems

doesn't cut-it. A person who has ''really done it,'' ask:
l. When is a good time that I could talk with you for you?
2. What I said or did was so, so wrong. I am genuinely sad that I have hurt you.
3."Would or could you please find it in your heart to forgive me and I will promise you that I will make the effort to make sure that it never happens again."
4. "If not, I certainly understand, but please let me know if you ever decide you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
Right human relationships require ''asking for forgiveness,'' and ''making a committment that you will make every effort to make sure that it doesn't happen anymore." Best Wishes.

It sounds like we have some trust issues here. There are two reasons for distrusting someone. The first is because of our own insecurities and the second one is because that person has done something in the past that shows they are not worthy of our trust. If we are talking about the first one here, then you need to find a way of getting over your insecurities because they will ruin every relationship. If its the second reason, you do not owe him an apology as it takes time to regain the trust once it's lost and it's just the price he will have to pay if he wants to continue in the relationship. Sorry but your gonna have to give some details as to what you did to get in the dog house.And what ever it was, you said you may have done it one too many times. So what was it that you did so we can maybe give some advise here.

Maybe you should sit down and discuss WHY you needed to check up on him...
Sounds like you have some insecurities going on and need to address them...
TIME TO BE TOTALLY, BRUTALLY HONEST!! Only way to clear the air completely... Otherwise HE will NEVER trust YOU again!!! ;) And that may end the relationship...

I think if it has happened several times.....there is a pattern......I have a hunch that you are insecure.
A good place to start might be to think about exploring why you are insecure...maybe in counselling or therapy.
Of course I don't know any details about your guy, whether he is giving you reason not to trust hm.....
Tell him you are looking within yourself to try and work out what is happening and ask him to give you another chance...

You can start be respecting your partner more and secondly I think the best thing you can do to him is put him out of his misery and dump him so he can find someone who really loves him

oops.You quetioned his trust. Not good! Your other half will not appreciate the fact you don't trust him. You must be very insecure. I just hope he forgives you, or maybe this time its one too many and you've lost him............

You could just say I'm Sorry about 3.5 billion times. Why that number ?Because its big and it just popped into my mind! :)

good question. it can be easier to say your sorry by finding out something they want you to do for them also. if u cant say it verbally try writing a note.
